The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal

Bella’s House at Rivers Edge Behavioral Health Services, LLC has earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval® for behavioral health Accreditation by demonstrating continuous compliance with its performance standards. The Gold Seal is a symbol of quality that reflects a health care organization’s commitment to providing safe and quality patient care.

Bella’s House underwent a rigorous, onsite review on June 17, 2023. During the visit, a team of Joint Commission reviewers evaluated compliance with behavioral health standards spanning several areas including leadership, care, treatment and services, emergency management, infection prevention, medication management, performance improvement and environment of care. 

The Joint Commission’s standards are developed in consultation with health care experts and providers, measurement experts and patients. They are informed by scientific literature and expert consensus to help health care organizations measure, assess and improve performance. The surveyor also conducted onsite observations and interviews.

The Joint Commission is a nationally recognized distinction voluntarily earned by a select set of

healthcare providers.  An organization that achieves The Gold Seal of Approval® shows its

commitment to holding itself accountable to a high bar for quality and safety for those they serve.

To pass a survey as rigorous as one from The Joint Commission, it takes sustained, daily work from all those involved.  Bella’s House at Rivers Edge Behavioral Health Services thanks all its’ employees for their commitment and dedication to providing high quality care to individuals receiving substance use treatment.
