Medication Services

During our prescreen process, we will ask for your current medication list and dosing schedule. We are able to accommodate clients who are prescribed Suboxone or Subutex, but we are not able to accommodate clients who are prescribed Methadone. During your stay at Bella’s House, our medical team will work diligently to ensure you are on the proper medications and doses that will help you to be successful in your recovery.

Management of Co-occurring Disorders

When a mental health problem goes untreated, people are more likely to turn to alcohol or drugs to relieve their symptoms.  These two co-occurring disorders often require more intense treatment because they are occurring at the same time.  Bella’s House will not only provide treatment for your addiction, but also the underlying root cause of your addiction.

Individual Counseling

This is often the backbone of recovery and your rehab. Upon admission you will be assigned a counselor to meet with for your individual counseling.  Individual therapy addresses the emotional and mental health needs during your recovery.  You counselor will also help you with your next step planning for when you finish our program.

Group Therapy

Group therapy will provide a time to learn from and assist your peers during the recovery process.  It is common to feel isolated, depressed, or ashamed.  Group therapy provides a time to discover that you are not alone.  Feeling connected is one of the most important aspects of overcoming your addiction.  It is important that healthy communication skills are developed and practiced as these connections are made.

Types of Group Therapy

Relapse Prevention

Will teach you the strategies to help reduce the likelihood and severity of relapse and practice these skills.

Psychoeducation

Science has proven that the mind and body are connected.   Your awareness will be deepened about the behavioral, medical, and psychological consequences of addiction

Process Group

A time to give feedback to others.  This increases your own self-awareness which in turn helps you to recognize and gain a better understanding of yourself.  This self-awareness is a major part of your recovery from addiction.

Recreational Therapy

Every afternoon our clients participate in Recreational therapy. We encourage everyone to move around and get their blood pumping. We have lots of different fun activities to choose from. When you take part in leisure or fun activities, you’re more inclined to reduce stress.  Physical activity releases endorphins which boost mood and reduce cravings.  While taking part in recreational activities you may find a new hobby or overall feel happier taking part in activities you’ve never tried before.  It’s also a great way to bond with other clients and make connections.

Alternative Therapies

These types of therapies involve the mind and the body and their connection to one another.  The skills and practices learned while using these therapies can help you to overcome your addiction and focus on long-term recovery.  Some examples of these types of therapies include music, art, and drama therapy.

Family Therapy

Addiction is a family disease.  During your stay at Bella’s House, you will become part of a therapeutic family where new skills will be developed.  With the assistance of our caring, supportive, and professional staff you will then be able to use these skills to make healthy relationships with your own family.

Vocational, Educational and Volunteer Skill Development

At Bella’s House we do not believe that treatment for opiate, alcohol or other substance abuse is about putting your life on hold.  During your recovery with us, you will be provided with the resources and guidance to set goals for yourself and how to achieve these goals.
